However, <strong>quantifying the environmental impact of large volumes of products is a major challenge for the industry<\/strong>, prompting companies to seek solutions that allow them to do so efficiently, at scale, with comparable results, and with a fully professionalised process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">This is the case for <strong>cement companies associated with OFICEMEN<\/strong>, which use the tool developed by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieca.es\/\">Spanish Institute of Cement and its Applications (IECA)<\/a><\/strong> in collaboration with <strong>in\u00e8dit<\/strong>. This tool will also serve to generate the <strong>future Declaration of Performance and Conformity required by the new European Regulation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>The tool will enable companies in the sector to generate the <strong>Declaration of Performance and Conformity<\/strong> required by the new European Regulation.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">The <strong>IECA tool<\/strong> is a customised version of <strong>\u00e8dit<\/strong>, in\u00e8dit\u2019s environmental quantification tool. <strong>\u00e8dit<\/strong> is <strong>fully adaptable to the specific needs of each sector or company<\/strong>, ensuring calculations that are <strong>as precise as possible and tailored to different realities<\/strong>. Additionally, it enables the creation of <strong>calculators capable of generating EPDs at scale at a highly competitive cost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>From <strong>\u00e8dit<\/strong>, calculators can be generated to perform large-scale EPD calculations at a highly competitive cost.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">Thanks to this tool, <strong>OFICEMEN-associated companies<\/strong> can obtain <strong>AENOR verification for the EPDs of all their cements<\/strong> and comply with the <strong>future Environmental Performance Declaration<\/strong>.
