{"id":7456,"date":"2024-01-12T09:05:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T09:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ineditinnova.com\/?p=7456"},"modified":"2024-02-08T06:23:33","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T06:23:33","slug":"saprova-el-full-de-ruta-de-leconomia-circular-a-catalunya-i-ara-que","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ineditinnova.com\/en\/saprova-el-full-de-ruta-de-leconomia-circular-a-catalunya-i-ara-que\/","title":{"rendered":"Approval of the roadmap for the circular economy in Catalonia, and now what?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">The Government of Catalonia has approved this January the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/mediambient.gencat.cat\/ca\/detalls\/Noticies\/20240205-full-ruta-cat-circular\">Roadmap for the Circular Economy in Catalonia (FRECC) 2030<\/a><\/em>, which aims to <strong>accelerate the country&#8217;s transition towards a more circular and fair economy that maximizes the value of resources and acts as a lever for this transformation within a framework of collaborations among key actors<\/strong>. To achieve this, it defines the mission, vision, strategic objectives, and operational objectives towards a more circular Catalonia by 2030. These objectives include decoupling economic development from resource consumption and emissions generation; accelerating social, cultural, and labor transformation towards circularity; ensuring an effective transition towards a circular and digitized industrial and business fabric; and facilitating the creation of a favorable framework for the circular economy. in\u00e8dit has been the drafting team, together with the <a href=\"https:\/\/residus.gencat.cat\/es\/inici\/\">Waste Agency of Catalonia (ARC)<\/a> and various directorates general of the Department of Climate Action, Food, and Rural Agenda (DACC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">In a global context where some material resources will become increasingly scarce and strategic to maintain economic activity in many sectors, &#8220;it is advisable for countries and governments to develop a circularity strategy,&#8221; says <strong>Jordi Oliver<\/strong>, executive director of in\u00e8dit. Once the roadmap, priorities, and actions are defined, <strong>the next step<\/strong>, according to Oliver, <strong>&#8220;belongs to private agents, who will have to build their strategies and align themselves with the country&#8217;s objectives<\/strong>, so business associations and clusters will play a fundamental role as companions of this transformation and as facilitators of cooperation among agents&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">The roadmap will be developed through two action plans, one for 2024-2026 and another for 2027-2029.
