Client
Zobele, based in Italy and with manufacturing, creation and development plants all around the world, is a supplier of global solutions for many leading brands in air care and pest control.
Its project, aligned with the company’s sustainable pillars, was to create a unique reusable, rechargeable and easily recyclable air freshener design for the mass market, with the aim of seeking a real positive environmental impact and moving away from “greenwashing“.
Challenge
Presenting an eco-briefing for a rechargeable air freshener.
What was done?
Inèdit was commissioned with devising various ecodesign solutions, both for the packaging where it could be integrated and for the content of its interior, as well as to carry out an environmental and usability assessment on each proposal.
Results
3
Design concepts presented with a minimum of 2 formal design proposals for each concept.
4
Air freshener formats proposed.
1
Feasibility analysis of the proposals based on the use experience, sustainability and cost.
Conclusions
Designing a product from scratch has enabled Zobele to open the spectrum in the field of ecodesign, integrating the concept of the circular economy into the company and gaining greater knowledge of reuse, rechargeable systems and technical capabilities, as well as of the actual cost of product implementation.
