Quantification of environmental impacts

At inèdit, we have extensive experience in calculating environmental metrics and designing decarbonization plans using internationally recognized scientific methodologies such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), organizational and product carbon footprinting, water footprinting, and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). This allows organizations to anticipate environmental legislation, act with transparency, and gain recognition.

What do our environmental impact quantification services consist of?

We identify and quantify the environmental impacts of a product, service, or organization. This serves as a starting point to identify improvement opportunities, establish reduction targets for these impacts, and define strategies and action plans to achieve them, either based on our own guidelines or in line with the United Nations' Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Additionally, we support organizations in the process of joining voluntary agreements and initiatives, third-party verification of projects, or integrating environmental metrics into ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning systems).

We provide our clients with èdit, a tool that allows for the customized, self-sufficient, and continuous quantification of environmental impacts of products, services, and organizations. èdit can be integrated into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and blockchain, and it has the capability to generate all the quantitative environmental indicators required for the Non-Financial Information Statement (EINF) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

We define the project objective with the client, establish system boundaries, specify the project scope, and create a work schedule with tangible deliverables.

Analysis of the data inventory

We gather reliable information and data on energy, materials, waste, and emissions to analyze the environmental impact across the entire value chain.

Quantification of environmental impacts

We classify, characterize, and assess environmental impacts according to specific indicators and methods to obtain results for each impact category.

Interpretation of results and conclusions

We analyze environmental indicators, identify improvement opportunities and eco-design possibilities, and compile the results and improvement opportunities into a document.

Evaluation of improvements / Reduction plans
