Campofrío is a multinational food company, a subsidiary of the Mexican company of Sigma foods, with its headquarters in Madrid. It is the leading processed meats company in Europe and one of the five largest companies in the world in the sector.
The premise of the project was to develop a sustainability roadmap in order to reduce risks and find communication opportunities in the areas of sustainability and transparency.
To establish Campofrío’s sustainability and transparency strategy in the supply chain for pork, turkey and chicken products.
What was done?
Under this premise a vision, mission, and objectives were defined in relation to the sustainability of Campofrío’s chain of suppliers and an action plan was developed to meet the objectives set, as a way of leading the changes towards a more sustainable meat production sector.
